Something I learned: Two particles with the same mass-to-charge ratio move in the same path in a vacuum when subjected to the same electric and magnetic fields.
This is very useful knowledge when working with mass spectrometers.

Something that made me happy: Tan-lines are happening, despite the fact that I spend too much time indoors right now. It means I do get to see the sun.

Something I learned: Castor and Pollux (aka Kastor and Polydeuces, together [also] known as the Dioscuri or Dioskouroi) are twin brothers of Greek mythology. Their mother was Leda, while Castor was the mortal son of Tyndareus, the king of Sparta, and Pollux the divine son of Zeus. Who seduced Leda disguised as a swan…

Something that made me happy: That I have never been seduced by a swan. Or a man/god disguised as one.

(What I learned is something I heard on a TV clip posted to Facebook. So not 100% certain of how true it is.)

Something I learned: Urology/genitourinary surgery is the branch of medicine that focuses on surgical and medical diseases of the urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs.

Something that made me happy: That my field of study may have tons of words of varying degrees of craziness, but at least they’re not as hard to pronounce.
